Shoes Change Lives

Buy a pair of shoes and a needy child gets a pair free!  CBS Evening News with Katie Couric recently aired a story about an American businessman, Blake Mycoskie, who has become a social entrepreneur.  He’s the founder of the online business, Toms Shoes.  His social program is called One for One.  For every pair of shoes purchased, his company donates a pair to an impoverished child.  His website explains it best.  ”Using the purchasing power of individuals to benefit the greater good is what we’re all about.”  Learn more about Toms Shoes on his website video.
