That all changed following a near-death experience in 1994.

In this riveting hour-long conversation with Ted Henry, Nanci tells a compelling story about how she met other light beings, merged with Source, and experienced the download of universal knowledge which she brought back to share. So grab a cup of tea and settle in for a fascinating glimpse into one woman’s unique spiritual journey.

A special thanks to Ted Henry, a spiritual journalist, and his wife Jody who travel around the world to interview individuals whose stories of devotion and spiritual seeking are inspiring and transformative. She cited severe weather, turbulent war and skyrocketing gas prices. Then she added sadistic TV shows and violent crime. My friend said it all left her with a sense of powerlessness.

It reminded me that individual power can’t be taken from us. Our power is in the choices we make every moment. Life is the culmination of those choices. Looking back at our lives, it’s easy to see. But, we tend to forget in the moment that our choices create the future.

We can’t change the severe weather. But we can send love and prayers to those who are victims of the storms. We can respect nature.

We can’t stop the war, But, since peace begins in each individual heart, we can choose to be kind toward everyone with whom we come in contact.

We can’t lower the cost of gas, but we can choose a neutral response every time we fill up the tank. Rather than feeling like we don’t have enough money, we can choose to feel abundant.

At any given moment we define ourselves and our relationship to others by the choices we make. We can choose to be loving or unloving; tolerant or intolerant; forgiving or unforgiving. And each response in each moment has a ripple effect that puts creative forces into motion.

When we choose love, we tend to create more love around us. When we choose kindness, kindness comes back to us. When we’re generous, abundance returns. Our choices create our future.

Imagine the life we could create if we deliberately chose only positive choices and reactions. Imagine what would happen if we set our egos aside and offered to become a channel for the positive attributes of Divine Intelligence -or whatever name you may use for that Creative Energy Force. As these attributes of goodness flowed through us, they’d reflect in our lives.

Since our lives are the creative sum total of our thoughts, words and actions, we do have control by how we choose to respond. Every day is a clean slate on which we define ourselves. So, as you start each day, be consciously aware and vow to make wise choices.

How do you release the real you? Here are some ideas:

Acknowledge that your secret desires of who you can be are the Universe’s way of knocking on your heart, offering to open the door to the potential inside of you.

Remember that you are unique. Divinity gave you a special talent that only you can manifest. It is your life purpose to develop that potential.

Visualize yourself the way you desire to be. What would that look like? What would it feel like? How would you act? Spend time examining those visions until you feel comfortable with them.

Act as though you already were that person. Because you are! It’s inside, waiting to be manifested on the outside. It’s as simple as BEING.

It may seem like an overwhelming transformation, but the journey starts with small steps.

What once seemed mundane and meaningless, now has purpose. We have an inner compass that guides us along our journey. But how do we connect to our Higher Power?

1. Become aware that you are one with the all powerful Universe. Just like your thumb is part of your hand, your being is part of a Higher Being.

2. Live life from a place of love, not fear. Love every individual and situation as part of the greater Being, just as your fingers and thumb coexist harmoniously as part of your hand.

3. Live in the present moment. Your Higher power exists only in the present moment. When you venture into the past or future, you’ve lost the connection.

4. Be a conduit for the attributes of your Higher Power. Express the love, light, peace, joy, abundance, creativity, and other positive attributes that flow through you as you put your ego aside. 5.Express gratitude for your connection to your Higher Power. What we’re thankful for increases and continues to manifest.
